About Gemdawn
Gemdawn is a gem puzzle with a story. When the great Crystal breaks, every light in the Canopy goes out. Mira, a young gem-cutter, and her spark-fox Ember set off to relight the world, one swipe at a time.
You play by drawing a line through touching gems of the same colour. The longer the chain, the further Mira leaps along her path. Every third level ends in a monster fight, and each of the five realms adds its own twist.
How to play
- Press or touch a gem and drag across neighbouring gems of the same colour. Chains of three or more count.
- Let go to collect the chain. Gems fall to fill the gaps, and Mira moves forward.
- Make long chains to create special gems: line gems, bombs and prisms.
- On a computer you can also use the keyboard: arrow keys move a cursor, Shift with the arrows builds a chain, and Enter collects it.
- Stuck? The Map shows your journey, and Settings has colour-blind symbols and reduced-motion switches.
